On February 23rd a few tornados touched down in Louisiana. 4 days later we decided to assess the damage in Belle Rose, LA. We had no idea what to expect, but as always our hearts were so blessed to be in the community and meet the people whose homes were destroyed.
We are excited to support these amazing people as they begin to put their lives back together; literally and figuratively. The immediate need will morph into long term need and emotional care and we would love to provide support in all aspects of recovery.
Do you want to help right now?
Currently, people are without homes. They need the basics for living: clothes, food, and shelter. Most of these people are staying with family or friends but their clothes and personal items are in short supply.
March: We will be collecting donations AND STORIES for our friends who need help. We would love to be able to purchase some suitcases, rubbermaid storage containers, food and any immediate clothing needs and bring them to those in Belle Rose.
