Jeremy & Jasmine Dean
Jeremy and Jasmine Dean have quite the love story. Growing up thousands of miles apart, they met while doing relief work and eventually founded Live Your Love™ in 2008 to give back to the country that brought them together. Based on the idea that small changes in daily activities can make a big difference, Live Your Love sells tea sourced from Sri Lanka, the country 31 miles off the south-eastern coast of India where the Deans lived after the 2004 tsunami.
Live Your Love donates a portion of their profits to Smile International’s Sri Lanka branch, providing services including healthcare and education to communities throughout a country devastated by the tsunami. So tea drinkers, rejoice! This is the tea for you.
Live Your Love™ exists to partner with individuals and communities around
the world to assist people in overcoming poverty, abuse, hunger, hate, and injustice.
The goal of Live Your Love™ is to take an every day activity &
turn it into an opportunity to empower those less fortunate.
Live Your Love™ was co-founded in 2008 by Jeremy and Jasmine Dean and became a limited liability company (LLC) in December 2009.
Jeremy and Jasmine met in Sri Lanka in early 2005 while doing voluntary relief work after the Southeast Asian Tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands in the region. They got married in 2007 and have since done voluntary relief work at three different times to Haiti and moved back Sri Lanka for six months in 2009 to meet with communities, collaborate with local organizations and help people in need of food, education and love.
Live Your Love created their own Ceylon (Sri Lankan) tea to promote the vision of Live Your Love. When you buy a box of tea, you will finance current and future projects as well as bring awareness to the needs of people we are helping around the world.
Live Your Love has partnered with Smile Lanka since the formation of Live You Love Tea™. Jeremy and Jasmine spent quite a bit of time with the children and families at the school in Sri Lanka and fell in love with the way they serve the community and the impact it has on people’s lives since the tsunami. Between educating and feeding children as well as supporting and empowering widows, Smile Lanka is is helping to sustain a community that was devastated by the tsunami.
Live Your Love is currently contributing to the foundations of a medical clinic at Smile Lanka.
Live Your Love recently heard from the founder of Smile Lanka that “due to a lack of clean water and there only being one tap and one toilet to about 50 houses in the slums, diarrhea is a big problem with the children. When you consider that in the world more children die of diarrhea than HIV, measles, and malaria put together (averaging 6 children per minute), this is definitely something which needs to be treated very quickly. This is what our clinic and nurses will provide.”
